President Connolly's report to the Regents includes the notes that Faculty voted to keep the quarter system permanently; that the "Cooperative Plan" of education was adopted, thus allowing students to work for a company with pay to gain real world experience before graduation; that summer school is necessary to get students who are out of sync with their program back on track.
