Once again, Tuesday will be a special day at the Devereaux Library. Each Tuesday, beginning on, September 11, the Library will present a special program. This semester’s Tuesday @ your library will be a variety of informational and educational programs. Sessions will be held in the i-hub area. Events will be posted on Devereaux Online each week.
On Tuesday, September 11, the Devereaux Library will remember the events of 9/11/2001. At 10 a.m., WHY THE TOWERS FELL will be shown. This 60-minute video takes viewers through the investigation of the “hows and whys” of one of America’s greatest tragedies. At 11 a.m. UP FROM ZERO, a 60-minute documentary memorializing the patriotism, strength and determination of the men and woman who worked at Ground Zero. Throughout the day, 9/11 photographs from the Library of Congress will be displayed on the giant screen in i-hub.
