Several days ago I asked for help identifying some pictures from the archives. With help from Sid Goss, Sam French and many of the people who have been associated with Storm Mountain over the years, some of the mysteries have been solved. We know the mystery location was Storm Mountain, and are fairly certain the year was 1986. We have confirmed the identities of several folks in the pictures too. Thanks! December 8 ~ Former Beatle John Lennon was shot to death by Mark David Chapman on this day in 1980. Lennon's music lives on and is available at the Devereaux Library. Did you know that the library has a collection of rock music on CD. These were added to the library collection to support SDSM&T's music curriculum, but are available for all Devereaux patrons to enjoy. Check them out @ your library!
