These images, taken immediately after the flood and in the days that followed, are a few of the items that the library has regarding this tragic event. Some of these images were received as an anonymous gift, others from friends of the library and from governmental agencies. Some are well documented and identified, others remain a mystery. We've made an awesome start!  Find more pictures to identify here. This: is Dr. Batchelder and a graduate student using an IBM SCARA (Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Arm) robot, with the simulation software running on the IBM AT Computer in the background. The standard computer had the largest hard disk drive at the time – a whopping 20 MB – and the standard monitor was 16 colors, but not VGA capable. The simulation software ran on DOS, not windows.(Thanks Dr. Jensen and Dr. Batchelder) Lyle Feisel Thanks Dr. Goss. Many other pictures were ID yesterday.  Thanks to everyone who helped.  But many more are left to ID.  Can you name these people, places, and things ? The library has been scanning slides and photographs!    Over the years, the Media Center, University Relations and many other offices and individuals have sent numerous boxes of 35mm slides and photographs to the library. Only a few have identifying information. Library staff have been working to identify and catalog these valuable campus historical resources and we could sure use your help. We post some on Facebook where 160 or so former students have been strolling down memory lane while identifying photos. We'd like to get more faculty and staff involved in the project.
