OCLC FirstSearch, the vendor that was providing access to GeoRef, is no longer doing so. As of today we have access to GeoRef via ProQuest's CSA interface. http://www.csa.com/htbin/dbrng.cgi?username=sdsmt&access=sdsmt57&db=georef-set-c It should work on campus or via VPN . September 1 - President Connolly reports that the old original building has been abandoned since the army training program was discontinued and that it will remain so because of its unsafe condition, unless the space becomes absolutely necessary in the increasing enrollment at the end of hostilities. Dakota School of Mines:August 19, 1885

Happy Anniversary! 125 years ago today, on August 19, 1885, the cornerstone of the first building for the Dakota Territory School of Mines was dedicated.
