The Knovel University Challenge starts on 9/14/09 and is open to all universities with current subscriptions and trials to Knovel. You have until (midnight) December 1st to submit your answers and contact information (full name, school name, email address) via the contest widget available at www.info.knovel.com/challenge .   All entries with a total of at least 3 correct answers will be placed into a random drawing for one of (1) Kindle, (2) Nintendo Wiis, (4)  iPod Nanos and (6) iTunes Gift Cards. The drawing will take place on December 1st, 2009. The Prizes will be awarded to entrants in the US, Canada, Asia, Eastern Europe, Western Europe and all other regions. All winners must present correct answers to 3 quiz questions. All universities, domestic and international, are eligible to participate and win. EndNote is a commercial reference management software package, used to manage bibliographies and references when writing essays and articles. It is made by Thomson Scientific. If you wanted to purchase the EndNote software it would cost $250. The Board of Regents Libraries negotiated a contract with Thomson Scientific for the Web of Knowledge package. Included in this contract is the right to provide copies of the EndNote software to our students, faculty and staff at no charge to the user. Do you use EndNote? Need an upgrade?
